This attraction debuted in Tomorrowland on November 28, 1974. It was basically a space-themed Dumbo ride. It was accessed by an elevator at ground level. It used to require a D ticket. It closed in 1994 and was replaced by the Astro Orbiter the following year. Star Jets can still be found at Tokyo Disneyland.
(This photo by Ray McPartlin shows the Star Jets-era elevator and also the PeopleMover sign.)
(This shot by Mark Thompson shows the Star Jets in 1984. Note the Magic Carpet 'Round the World and Mission to Mars signs.)
