This fast food spot made its debut on February 13, 1993 was often open only seasonally. It was located on the former site of Lancer's Inn and Gurgi's Munchies & Crunchies and served kid-friendly fare such as chicken nuggets and grilled cheese. It closed on April 30, 2006 and became the Village Fry Shoppe (where McDonald's fries were main menu item) starting the next day. Once the Village Fry Shoppe closed in 2009, the space became the Friar's Nook. Lumiere and all his friends from Beauty and the Beast later found a culinary home in Fantasyland at the Be Our Guest Restaurant. In 2016 a buffet restaurant in the Shanghai Disneyland hotel opened named Lumiere's Kitchen.
