Buses (press material often referred to them as "motor coaches") have always been a transportation option at Walt Disney World. In the early years, a flag system was used. The Magical Express Bus Shuttle from the Orlando International Airport began in 2005.

Bus Flag Colors

Red: Operated between the Transportation and Ticket Center and Walt Disney World Village approximately every 15 minutes from 8 AM until 2 AM.

Black: Nightly route to Pioneer Hall in Fort Wilderness for the Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue and the Polynesian Village Resort for the Luau from the Golf Resort, Polynesian Village and Fort Wilderness.

Blue: Operated between Fort Wilderness and the Transportation and Ticket Center every 8 minutes from 7 AM until 2 AM.

Green: Daily Route between the Golf Resort and Polynesian Village Resort from 7 AM until 2 AM.

Gold: Route that operated between the Contemporary Resort, the Transportation and Ticket Center and the Polynesian Village Resort every 20 minutes.

White: Special.
